What is Diploma Engineering?
Diploma Engineering is a technical education program conducted under MSBTE (Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education). It focuses on practical skills, labs, and industry-oriented learning.
Students must be 10th (SSC) pass. HSC (11th–12th) is not required. Admission is usually based on 10th standard marks.
Students can directly join diploma after 10th standard. 10th (SSC) ® Diploma (3 years – MSBTE) ® Degree Engineering (Direct 2nd Year).
No, diploma does not replace HSC, but HSC is not required for diploma. Diploma is an alternative technical education path after 10th.
